When I was 10 years old I thought a 6-seater gondola was the most luxurious way to access a ski hill. Max, on the other hand, being used to 8-seater chairlifts with a bubble and bottom heating, has discovered a much more interesting way of getting onto the mountain:

Parker’s Dad managed to get them onto a CMH helicopter – the opportunity of a life time for the three lads and a very nice highlight at the end of a successful season for the three racers. All three of them had great top 10 finishes in the 2016 races and could spend a fantastic day together in the untouched powder, together with their coach Filip and Parker’s sister Olivia.
While I am very happy for my ten year old I have to ask myself: what next? Well, for Max it will be a lot of travelling, maybe a bit of (kite) surfing. Reed on the other hand has a clear idea about what comes next for him: Brown Shorts off Mount Mackenzie in Revelstoke. I think: way to early!
Leaves me to say: thanks, Mike, for giving my boy an incredible day – that’ll be hard to match!
